Clarissa Richard has been a practicing family medicine physician assistant since 2015. She has focused on preventative care and promoting healthy lifestyles in her patients as her primary focus. She has found joy in teaching and serving as a preceptor for physician assistant students from UT Health San Antonio’s PA program, as well as for family nurse practitioner students from UT Arlington and Corpus Christi A&M programs.

She graduated with her master’s degree in Physician Assistant Studies from UT Health San Antonio in 2015 and received her bachelor’s degree in biology with honors from the University of the Incarnate Word in 2012.

In her spare time, she enjoys reading thriller fiction books, binging on a good TV show, and spending time with her husband and 3 dogs.
